Youth

With over 45 middle and high school students involved, Williams Road offers a variety of activities for its thriving youth program. In addition to regular church times and Bible classes, these include:

Teen Talks on Monday nights at 7:00 p.m. This includes a devo, shared prayer time, and recreation and snacks.

Youth Softball. Playing in the local church league, this team consists of 14 teens along with 3 of our adults (including our minister, Mr. Keith). The team plays Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Social activities. Each month the senior group has a social activity. These include cookouts, pizza parties, bowling, trips to Wild Adventures or Six Flags, and seasonal parties (like Halloween).

Service projects. Each quarter, the youth group tackles a service project. These include doing yard work for elderly members, hosting a spaghetti dinner for the entire church, and providing a Valentine Banquet for over-55 members.

Summer schedule. When school's out, the pace picks up. Each summer, Williams Road has an intern from Faulkner University serving the church. The intern provides a busy calendar of Bible studies, devotionals, recreational activities, and service projects for the youth group.

Camp. Many of our youth attend Georgia Bible Camp each summer in July. Located near Valdosta, the camp provides spiritual training, recreation (swimming, crafts, and sports), entertainment, and the opportunity to bond with old friend and to make new ones.
